About the works

Eastern Wind Theatre presents independent songs, films, imagined bands and visual worlds created with the assistance of AI. Artist names identify the subject of a tribute. They do not imply an endorsement, a collaboration, or a performance by the named artist. Fictional bands are identified as such.

Background notes link to their sources. Descriptions connecting a tribute to an artist’s work are editorial interpretations of the projects, rather than statements by the artist.

Images & typography

Film posters are the project’s YouTube thumbnails. The five panoramic scene illustrations were created specifically for this website with OpenAI image generation; they are atmospheric artwork, rather than frames from the films.

Type: Cormorant Garamond and Barlow, distributed under the SIL Open Font License and served from this website.
